Live in Tokyo E-mail

This is live mix I did in Shibuya, Tokyo for some crazy futuristic 80s fashion show. Was pretty fun putting this one together. I love Tokyo, definitely one of my favorite cities to play. This show was a blast. Click the player to listen or download the mp3 here

Live at the Future Primitive with DJ Z-Trip on 4 turntables. For those not familiar with the Future Primitive, was seriously one of the best regular shows in the Bay area maybe the best anywhere else for that matter. Some monumental nights I got to see and be a part of... Shadow, Cut Chemist, Shortcut, Q-bert, Latyrx, Doze Green, Faust, Shortee, so many to list. Definitely miss these shows... Newsflash

Alot of people ask what is a Turntablist? How are they different from Dj's?  I've gotten asked this hundreds of times over the years so I thought I would save everyone some time and clarify. Oftentimes, people relate turntablists to djs and put them in the same category as Djs.  In all honesty, this is a fair assumption, but the truth is that these two disciplines are completely different from each other are completely separate art forms.  In the simplest terms, a DJ play records, a Turntablist manipulates records to make music.
